DUBAI : Nakheel Tower Dubai (Part 2)

(Minor corrections on the previous post : Dubai doesn't have much oil, it is his brother Abu Dhabi, which is an hour away by car from Dubai that is rich in oil and count for about 20% of the total world oil reserves)

As many of us are aware of, Dubai is a booming city with so many high-rise buildings under construction or planned or pending the approval from Dubai Development Board. One notable proposed supertall skyscraper is
Nakheel Tower. It is set to be the tallest tower building tower in the world when completed with 228 tenanted floors.

Some facts about Nakheel Tower Dubai :
- 228 Floors
- to be build between Jumeirah Lake Towers and Dubai Marina
- height is 1400m or 4593ft (height of antenna/spire included)
- floor area >
1,490,000
or 16,038,200 sq ft
- elevator count > 150
- construction work slated to commence in January 2010
