Escaping the Heat (Part V)

It was time to wake up from the fantasy world i've been living in the past few days. I went to the Taipei Main Station at 6.02am (the first train) and transferred to the Taiwan High Speed Rail to the airport. The Taiwan High Speed Rail train will take me to Taoyuan Station which takes 20 minutes. I will then have to take a bus from Taoyuan Station to the airport. I paid TWD160 (RM17.20) for the Taiwan High Speed Rail ticket and TWD30 (RM3.23) for the bus ride from Taoyuan Station to the airport.

Taoyuan Airport Terminal 2. Taoyuan Airport was formerly called Chiang Kai-shek International Airport. The name was changed to its current name in 2006 to please Mainland China. Mind you it was merely 7.15am when i took these pictures. Terminal 2 was already jam-packed.

Flying Eva Air ... to Kota Kinabalu ... yeah !!!

One of these planes will take me back to Kota Kinabalu

Until the bloody red plane docked at Gate C2 ... and so i woke up from my dream. Eva Air is just the ground handling agent for Air Asia in Taiwan.

Park Taipei Hotel key card

EasyCard. Taipei's version of Touch 'n Go. It is so much better compared to our Touch 'n Go. TWD500 (RM53.75) to buy the card. TWD400 of usable credits and TWD100 of fully refundable deposit upon returning of the card in good condition.
